All you hear about today is “the American Corso vs. the Italian Corso.” Breeders argue over which look is the best, or should be considered the proper standard. Different registries have slightly different standards. Here we believe that the choice is not just between an American or Italian Corso. Some of the best dogs in this breed come from Spain, Russia, Hungary, Mexico and others countries. I myself prefer what people call the Italian head.  When it comes to breeding though, We here at CS believe in only using dogs that meet the standards set by the ICCF, FCI and AKC. We use only dogs of correct structure and sound temperaments in our program.  There is no such dog as a perfect dog, but by matching strengths to weakness you can develop a really great dog.
